Compound Miter Saws
A Power Miter Saw is a power tool used to make a quick, accurate crosscut in a workpiece at a selected angle. Commonly used for cutting of molding and trim. Compound Miter Saws have the added benefit of being able to rotate the blade and head at a variety of angles, allowing for the cutting of angles other than 90 degrees. It creates a ramp angled cut into the side of the wood, allowing for more complex cuts. This type is commonly used in trim work for homes.
Table Saws
A Table Saw is a woodworking tool, consisting of a circular saw blade, mounted on an arbor, that is driven by an electric motor. A sliding table saw, is a variation on the traditional cabinet saw. They are generally used to cut large panels and sheet goods, such as plywood or MDF. Sliding table saws have a sliding table on the left side of the blade, usually attached to a folding arm mounted under the table, that is used for cross cutting and ripping larger materials.
Drill Press
A Drill Press is a style of drill that may be mounted on a stand or bolted to the floor or workbench. Drill presses are almost always equipped with more powerful motors compared to hand-held drills. This enables larger drill bits to be used and speeds up drilling with smaller bits. For most drill presses speed change is achieved by manually moving a belt across a stepped pulley arrangement. Some drill presses add a third stepped pulley to increase the number of available speeds.
Band Saws
A Bandsaw is a power saw with a long, sharp blade consisting of a continuous band of toothed metal stretched between two or more wheels to cut material. They are used principally in woodworking, metalworking, and lumbering, but may cut a variety of materials. Advantages include uniform cutting action as a result of an evenly distributed tooth load, and the ability to cut irregular or curved shapes like a jigsaw.
Dust Collector
A Dust Collector is a system used to enhance the quality of air released from industrial and commercial processes by collecting dust and other impurities from air or gas. Designed to handle high-volume dust loads, a dust collector system consists of a blower, dust filter, a filter-cleaning system, and a dust receptacle or dust removal system. Dust collectors are used in many processes to either recover valuable granular solid or powder from process streams, or to remove granular solid pollutants from exhaust gases prior to venting to the atmosphere.
Vaccum Cleaner
A Vacuum Cleaner is a device that uses an air pump to create a partial vacuum to suck up dust and dirt from floors and from other surfaces. The dirt is collected by either a dust bag or a cyclone for later disposal. They are used in homes as well as in industry, exist in a variety of sizes and models. Specialized shop vacuums can be used to suck up both dust and liquids.
Battery Charger
A Battery Charger, is a device used to put energy into a secondary cell or rechargeable battery by forcing an electric current through it. Slow battery chargers may take several hours to complete a charge. High-rate chargers may restore most capacity much faster, but high rate chargers can be more than some battery types can tolerate. Such batteries require active monitoring of the battery to protect it from overcharging.
Industrial Bench Grinder
A Bench Grinder is a bench-top type of grinding machine used to drive abrasive wheels. These types of grinders are commonly used to hand grind various cutting tools and perform other rough grinding. A wire brush wheel or buffing wheels can be interchanged with the grinding wheels in order to clean or polish work pieces. Stiff buffing wheels can also be used when deburring is the task at hand.
Brake Lathe
A Brake Lathe is an efficient tool for curing noise and vibration problems, often prolonging the life of brake systems. Brake Lathes are essential equipment for any automotive or truck repair shop that wants to re-machine vehicle brake drums, resurface brake rotors. Surface finish is crucial to proper vehicle braking and extended friction pad life.
Wood Lathe
A Wood Lathe is a machine used to form a piece of wood into a desired shape. A piece of wood is attached to a spinning arm and various tools are used to shape the piece of wood as it spins. Modern lathes usually have a spindle and tailstock where the wood you want to “turn” is attached. You then use various bladed tools and the tool rest to pare down the outside of the wood, taking off the bark and shaping it until it is in the form you want.
Drain Cleaning Machine
Drain Cleaners, use the mechanical force of an electric motor to twist a flexible cable or spring in a clockwise direction and drive it into a pipe. Electric drain cleaners are commonly available with cable lengths of up to 40 meters and can go as far as 80 meters. Advantages of electric drain cleaners include the ability to clean long sections of sewer drain, the ability to remove solid objects. Machines using springs can easily negotiate multiple 90-degree bends while maintaining their effectiveness and without damaging the pipe.
Core Drills
A Core Drill is a drill specifically designed to remove a cylinder of material, much like a hole saw. The material left inside the drill bit is referred to as the core. Core drills used in metal are called annular cutters. Core drills used for concrete are generally called Diamond Core Drills and are water cooled. For drilling masonry, carbide core drills can be used.
High Pressure Washer
High Pressure Washer is used to remove loose paint, mold, grime, dust, mud, chewing gum and dirt from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete surfaces. The volume of a mechanical pressure washer is expressed in gallons or liters per minute, often designed into the pump and not variable. The pressure used in the machines are expressed in pounds per square inch, pascals, or bars.
Masonary Saw
A Masonry Saw is a power tool used for cutting concrete, masonry, brick, asphalt, tile, and other solid materials. There are many types ranging from small hand-held saws, chop-saw models, and big walk-behind saws or other styles, and it is powered by an electric motor. The saw blades used on concrete saws are often diamond saw blades to cut concrete, asphalt, stone, etc. Abrasive cut-off wheels can also be used on cut-off saws to cut stone and steel. The significant friction generated in cutting hard substances like concrete usually requires the blades to be cooled to prolong their life and reduce dust.
Stone Cutter
Stone Cutting Machine is the main machine for stone cutting. It uses diamond saw blade as cutting tool to cut Stone into a desired shape or size. The machine adopts programmable automatic electrical control system, has reliable performance and high cutting efficiency.
Shop Press
A Shop Press typically consists of a simple rectangular frame, often fabricated from C-channel or tubing, containing a bottle jack or hydraulic cylinder to apply pressure via a ram to a workpiece. Often used for general-purpose forming work in the auto mechanic shop, machine shop, garage or basement shops, etc. Typical shop presses can apply between 1 to 30 tons pressure, depending on size and construction.
Sand Blaster
Sandblaster, is used in the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface or remove surface contaminants. A pressurized fluid, typically compressed air, is used to propel the blasting material. and blasting is also known as abrasive blasting, which is a generic term for the process of smoothing, shaping and cleaning a hard surface by forcing solid particles across that surface at high speeds.
Paint Mixer
A Paint Mixer is an electrical machine which is used for mixing paint and other substances with ease and convenience. It is a very easy machine to use and it gets the work done much quicker than a manual mixing technique.
Oil Extractor
The Oil Extractor works by sucking the oil from the crankcase through a thin tube inserted in the dipstick opening. A handle is pumped repeatedly to create a vacuum that pulls the hot oil into an easy-to-carry container. It can then be taken to an auto parts store for recycling.
