Transmission Jack

A Transmission Jack is what you need for installing a new transmission or removing one on different types of vehicles whether you are a do-it-yourself person or doing a professional job. The transmission forms an integral aspect of a vehicle’s engineering and is extremely heavy. Whether you are working on any kind of transmission of an auto, truck or a motorcycle, using a transmission jack is advisable.

Floor Jack

In a Floor Jack, a horizontal piston pushes on the short end of a bell crank, with the long arm providing the vertical motion to a lifting pad, kept horizontal with a horizontal linkage. Floor jacks usually include castors and wheels, allowing compensation for the arc taken by the lifting pad. This mechanism provides a low profile when collapsed, for easy maneuvering underneath the vehicle, while allowing considerable extension.

Bottle Jack

A Bottle Jack is a jack which resembles a bottle in shape, having a cylindrical body and a neck. Within is a vertical lifting ram with a support pad of some kind fixed to the top. The jack is hydraulic most of the times. In the hydraulic version, the hydraulic ram emerges from the body vertically by hydraulic pressure provided by a pump either on the baseplate or at a remote location via a pressure hose. With a single action piston, the lift range is somewhat limited, so its use for lifting vehicles is limited to those with a relatively high clearance.

Jack Stand

Jack Stands may be the most overlooked safety equipment items in a DIY garage. Jack stands do not lift vehicles. Instead, they provide a safe, fixed support for a raised vehicle. Use a pair of jack stands every time you lift a vehicle and you will vastly decrease the likelihood of becoming a victim of a falling vehicle. Simply jack up the vehicle and lower it onto the jack stand.

Engine Crane

An Engine Crane is a common repair tool used in vehicle repair shops to remove or install gasoline or diesel engines in small and crowded vehicle engine compartments. It uses a heavy cantilevered support structure to hold the engine in mid-air so that the mechanic can carefully connect or disconnect fragile hoses and wires on the engine to the frame of the vehicle.

Tire Changer

A Tire Changer is a machine used to help tire technicians dismount and mount tires with automobile wheels. After the wheel and tire assembly are removed from the automobile, the tire changer has all the components necessary to remove and replace the tire from the wheel. Different tire changers allow technicians to replace tires on automobiles, motorcycles and heavy-duty trucks. New tire and wheel technology has improved certain tire changers to be able to change a low profile tire or a run-flat tire.

Wheel Balancer

Tire balance, also called tire unbalance or tire imbalance, describes the distribution of mass within an automobile tire or the entire wheel (including the rim) on which it is mounted. A Tire Balancer is used to balance the tire correctly.

Sockets

There are two main types of Sockets: Impact sockets and Chrome sockets. Common sockets are colloquially referred to by counting the number of “points” (pointed corners of walls) present in the shape of the socket nut opening. All Types of Sockets and Its Accessories are available.
